Los vecinos y visitantes de Oropesa podrán salir a la calle sin mascarilla a parir de hoy, sábado 26 de junio, ya que su uso en espacios al aire libre deja de ser obligatorio casi un año después. Así lo anunció el gobierno central la semana pasada. No obstante, la población puede acogerse a la medida siempre y cuando se respete la distancia mínima de 1,5 metros con miembros no convivientes.

En cuanto a los espacios cerrados de uso público, el uso de la mascarilla continúa siendo de obligado cumplimiento. Así, cabe recordar que estos incluyen los trasportes públicos como el tren o el bus, y también privados, como el coche, en el caso de que no se viaje con una persona de la misma unidad de convivencia.

En relación con eventos de ocio y cultura en espacios abiertos, propios de la localidad oropesina durante los meses de verano, cabe recordar que la norma no se modifica, por lo que los asistentes deberán hacer uso de la protección, siempre y cuando no exista la seguridad de respetar la distancia interpersonal. Así, en los acontecimientos en los que el público permanezca sentado con una separación de 1,5 metros no será obligado utilizarla.

Como excepciones, cabe destacar que en las residencias de mayores los usuarios podrán estar sin mascarilla siempre que el 80% de los presentes estén vacunados. Hay que tener en cuenta que no se incluyen las visitas ni los empleados del centro. Además, la misma medida se aplica para los trabajadores considerados esenciales.

La Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública ha confirmado la noche de este martes el primer caso positivo en la provincia de Castellón y en toda la Comunitat Valenciana.

Se trata del caso en estudio de un hombre que había acudido al hospital La Plana, en Vila-real con síntomas compatibles con la enfermedad. Los primeros análisis han confirmado la presencia del virus Covid-19. 

El departamento ha enviado ya la muestra al Centro Nacional de Microbiología en Majadahonda para la confirmación del resultado. Este caso se suma a los otros tres acontecidos en el resto de la península en apenas unos días.

Desde el organismo autonómico se ampliará esta información durante este miércoles.

Por otro lado, la prueba realizada al paciente en estudio del Hospital Doctor Peset de Valencia ha dado un resultado negativo, y se mantiene en estudio a tres pacientes en el Hospital General de Alicante.

Recomendaciones

Desde el Ministerio de Sanidad recomiendan principalmente cubrirse la boca y nariz con el codo en el caso de estornudar, evitar tocarse los ojos, nariz y boca, lavarse las manos frecuentemente y evitar el contacto cercano con otras personas en caso de sufrir una enfermedad respiratoria.

Los principales síntomas consisten en la falta de aire, tos y fiebre. En el caso de presentar alguno de estos síntomas y haber viajado recientemente a una zona de riesgo, se deberá contactar telefónicamente con el centro de salud para activar el protocolo establecido.
